We love to ship! Nothing warms out heart more than seeing an order leave our offices and begin it’s journey to you. We ship throughout South Africa and on occasion, internationally. Shipping Options

During the Checkout process, you’ll be asked to choose from four shipping options:

  1. To Door
  2. Speed Services Counter to Counter
  3. Post Office Parcelplus
  4. Own Collection

Below is a little more detail on each option:

To Door

This is our most popular and convenient shipping option. Your order will be delivered directly to the address you specify. Once dispatched from our offices, smaller orders travel via overnight express and will reach you the following day, larger orders travel via road freight and will reach you in two to three days. Please make sure to provide a shipping address with someone home during the day.

Our couriers only deliver during business hours from Monday to Friday. If you require a Saturday or Early Bird Delivery, please let us know, and we’ll get right back to you with a quote for this additional service.

So who can you expect to arrive at your door? Countrywide we use RAM Couriers for most to door deliveries; in the Cape Town area, we use Fastway and Citi-Sprint Couriers. Speed Services Counter to Counter

Our second most popular option, Speed Services Counter to Counter is perfect if you’re not sure when you’ll be home and would rather collect from the Post Office. Speed Services couriers your order from our local Post Office to yours. You don’t need a P.O. Box address, if you list your physical address your order will be shipped to the Post Office nearest to you.

Please note that “Counter” only refers to the South African Post Office. If you list your Postnet suite, your order will still need to be collected at the Post Office nearest to your suite. If you’d like your order delivered directly to Postnet, please select the To Door shipping option.

Post Office Parcelplus

Parcelplus is the South African Post Office’s domestic parcel service. It’s very similar to Speed Services Counter to Counter shipping. Orders are shipped from our local Post Office to yours. Parcelplus orders travel via 2-5 day road freight once shipped from our offices - we’re pleased to offer you Parcelplus shipping free of charge. If you’ve got a few extra days to spare and prefer to collect your order at the Post Office, this option is perfect for you.

Own Collection

If you’d like to collect your order from our Cape Town showroom, select this option. There is no shipping charge for Own Collection.

Occasionally customers request to have their own courier collect their order, we’re happy to offer this service. If this is the case, please select this option. Contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 after placing your order, we’ll need the name of the courier collecting as well as all the necessary details to fill out on the waybill. Please ask your courier company to bring a waybill with them when they make collection.

We'll let you know via email as soon as your order is ready for collection. Drop by to collect your order within five working days of notification (after five working days your order will be returned to stock).

Our showroom is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday & 9am to 4pm on Friday (closed weekends and public holidays). Read more about shopping at our showroom.

Shipping Charges

The prices listed on our website don’t include shipping. On each product page, a few lines under the price you'll find a shipping price. This price is for to door shipping in South Africa. Prices for the other shipping methods we offer are listed below.

We offer a fixed shipping price for each shipping method no matter the size of your order:

  1. To Door: R76
  2. Speed Services Counter to Counter: R114
  3. Post Office Parcelplus: Always Free
  4. Own Collection: Always Free

Shipping Timeline

Most orders deliver in 6 - 8 days from the time the order is paid (successful credit card orders are considered paid immediately - EFT orders are considered paid once we’ve received proof of payment). Delivery times do differ from product to product. Each product has a delivery estimate listed below the price. Look out for the words “Approximate Delivery:” and then a time listed, like 6 - 8 days.

The approximate delivery time listed on each product page is for To Door or Speed Services Counter to Counter shipping. Post Office Parcelplus takes a little longer.

Shipping Damage or Theft

We deal with very little to no instances of theft or damage in transit. In the event that your order does get lost, stolen or damaged, Mammoth will replace it as quickly as possible. Please note that in the case of loss or suspected theft we allow our courier companies 24 hours to solve the problem before going ahead with a replacement order.

If you notice your order is damaged or interfered with in some way please take the following steps:

  1. Before signing the waybill (and accepting your order), please check that everything is intact and no items are damaged or missing.
  2. If it turns out that only the exterior packaging is damaged, you can decide whether you’d like to accept the order or not.
  3. If any of the items are damaged or missing, please don’t accept the order.
  4. Your order will then be returned to the courier’s hub where a manager will inspect it. Please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370, so we can follow up and begin the replacement process.

If you are collecting from the Post Office and find that your order has been damaged or tampered with, please ask to speak to the branch manager and explain why you are not accepting the order.

Shipping Loss

Our couriers track all of our orders at multiple locations in transit. In the rare event, that an order is lost we will be contacted by our couriers. We allow them 24 hours to investigate and locate the order before beginning the replacement process. In the event of a lost order, we'll have a replacement order shipped to you as soon as possible.

Shipping Delay

We will email and sms your tracking number to you as soon as your order has been shipped. Included with your tracking number will be a delivery estimate. If your order does not arrive within our delivery estimate, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370, and we’ll follow up right away.

International Shipping

We don't have much demand for international shipping. As a result, you won't find any international shipping options in our checkout. We use Post Office Counter to Counter Air Freight for international orders. Shipping time is 7-14 days once dispatched. We can offer courier shipping but find this to be too expensive.
