Ordering Options

You can place an order in four easy ways:

1. Ordering Online

Buying online is our most popular and convenient option. If you’re new to online shopping, we hope you’ll find shopping online with us an easy and painless experience. Below are a few simple steps to get you started.

Mammoth is divided into two websites, Outdoor and Professional. If you’re shopping for anything outdoor, then www.mammoth.co.za/outdoor is the place to start. This site has green accents. If you’re shopping for anything professional, like full body harnesses, steel carabiners or protective eye wear then www.mammoth.co.za/pro is the place to start. This site has blue accents.

Use the main menu or our mega search bar (you can’t miss it!) to find the product or product category you’re looking for. Once you’ve found a product you’d like to purchase, click the orange Add to Cart button on the product page. This will take you to your shopping cart where you can decide if you’d like to checkout or continue shopping.

Once you’ve got everything you need in your shopping cart, click the Proceed to Secure checkout button. We’ve reduced our checkout to one page; it’s easy to understand and quick to complete. Below is a breakdown of each step:

a. Checkout Method

If you have already registered for an account, simply login on the right. On the left, you can choose to either checkout as a guest (don’t create a user account) or use this opportunity to sign up. If you choose to sign up and vheckout, you will be forwarded to the checkout once you’ve created your account.

b. Billing Address

If you’re logged in, this section will already be filled in. If you’ve chosen to checkout as a guest, please fill in your billing address.

c. Shipping Address

The last question asked under billing address is shipping destination. If you opted to ship to another address, please fill out the shipping address section. If you’re logged in, this section will already be filled in. If you’ve opted to ship to your billing address, you won’t need to complete this section.

d. Shipping Method

Choose between the following shipping methods: To Door, Speed Services Counter to Counter, Post Office - Parcelplus and Own Collection, read more about these shipping methods.

e. Payment Information

Choose between paying via Credit Card, EFT or Collect and Pay, read more about these payment methods.

f. Order Review

This is a summary of your order, take a quick look and make sure everything is there. Once you’re satisfied that you’ve got everything and have checked the order total that’s listed below, simply click the Place Order button to complete your order. If you’d like to add or remove an item from your order, you can click the Edit Your Cart link on the left. If you decide to edit your cart at this stage all of your details will be filled in when you return, you won’t have to repeat the above steps again.

And that’s a wrap! You’ll be forwarded to a confirmation page with a unique order number and link to monitor your order’s status, a copy of your order will also be immediately emailed to you. As soon as your order is shipped, we’ll send you an email and sms with your tracking number and a link to track the progress of your delivery. 2. Ordering via Email

To place an order via email simply drop a mail to sales@mammoth.co.za and let us know what you’d like to order. To make sure we can get you sorted right away please include the following information in your email:

  3. Contact number
  4. Delivery method (To Door, Speed Services Counter to Counter, Post Office - Parcelplus or Own Collection)
  5. Payment method (Credit Card, EFT or Collect and Pay)

We’ll get right back to you with an invoice and delivery timeline.

3. Ordering via Phone

Call us on 0861 000 370 to place your order over the phone. We’re open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and 9am - 4pm on Friday (closed weekends and public holidays). Please have the following information ready when you call:

  1. Items you’d like order
  2. Full name
  3. Contact number
  4. Email address
  5. Delivery method (To Door, Speed Services Counter to Counter, Post Office Parcelplus or Own Collection)
  6. Payment method (Credit Card, EFT or Collect and Pay)

4. Ordering via Fax

To place an order via fax, please include the below information and send it to 086 657 6224.

Product Sizing

If you're unsure of your size, please click on the “Size Chart” link provided on most apparel product pages. If you need help finding a size chart or sizing information in general, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370.

Quotes

We regularly prepare written quotes for businesses and individuals alike. Please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 to request a quote.

Special Orders

If you’re after a product but can’t find it on our website, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370. If it’s even remotely outdoor related, chances are we can get it. Please note that special orders are not returnable.

Product Catalog

We occasionally get requests for a printed product catalog. Our website is our catalog. We, unfortunately, don’t have any print or spreadsheet alternatives. If you need help finding products on our website or need a quote, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370.

Adding to an Order

If you'd like to add an item to you order contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 as soon as possible. As long as your order hasn't shipped, we can help.

Checking an Order’s Status

You can quickly and easily check the status of your order by either logging into your account or entering your order number and email address. You can do both from our Track Your Order page. Alternatively, please don't hesitate to contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 and we can check your order status or track your shipment for you.

Canceling an Order

If you'd like to cancel an order contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 as soon as possible. As long as your order hasn't shipped, we can cancel it and issue you with a refund. If your order has been shipped, we can, unfortunately, only offer you an exchange or credit note. Read more about our returns and exchanges policy.
