Do you have a store in Johannesburg/Pretoria?
We, unfortunately, don't. We only have a showroom in Cape Town.
We ship more orders to the Johannesburg/Pretoria area than any other part of the country. If you're unsure about buying online or buying without first viewing a product, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370.
Are you open over the weekend?
No. We're open Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm. Any email sent outside of these hours will be answered the next business day. We don’t get many requests for weekend showroom shopping. As soon as we see more demand for this we’ll be sure to extend our hours.
Is everything on your website in stock at your showroom?
In order to offer you the widest possible range at the best prices, we keep our showroom stock holding to a minimum. To source the rest of the gear you need we rely on our esteemed suppliers. If you are planning a visit to our showroom, to view a specific item we suggest you contact us first at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370. In most cases we can have it ready for viewing in just a few days.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes, all our prices include VAT.
Do your prices include shipping?
The prices listed on our website don’t include shipping. On each product page, a few lines under the price you'll find a shipping price. This price is for To Door shipping in South Africa. You can view our other shipping prices under shipping and delivery.
Is the price on your website correct?
Yes, the price on our website is the price you’ll get. We do, however, allow for errors (E&OE). In the event of a serious pricing error in an order, we’ll contact you and let you know the correct price. If the correct price is unacceptable we’ll refund you immediately, this has never happened, but we need to allow for the possibility.
Do I have to buy online?
Not at all. If, for any reason, you'd rather place your order over the phone or via email, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370. Alternatively you can also fax your order to 086 657 6224.
Do you sell to the public?
Yes, we sell to the public, businesses and organizations.
Can I add an item after I've placed an order?
If you'd like to add an item to your order please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 as soon as possible. As long as your order hasn't shipped, we can help.
Can I cancel an order after it's already gone through?
If you'd like to cancel an order, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 as soon as possible. As long as your order hasn't shipped, we can cancel it and issue you with a refund. If your order has been shipped, we can, unfortunately, only offer you an exchange or credit note.
What is the status of my order?
You can quickly and easily check the status of your order by either logging into your account or entering your order number and email address. You can do both from our Track Your Order page. Alternatively, please don't hesitate to contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370 and we can check your order status or track your shipment for you.
Can you send me a catalog of your products?
Our website is our catalog. We, unfortunately, don’t have any print or spreadsheet alternatives. If you need help finding products on our website, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners Club), EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and direct deposit. When making payment in our showroom, you can choose between credit card or cash. We, unfortunately, don’t accept debit cards.
Can I pay with a cheque?
We accept cheque payments only with prior approval. If you would like pay via cheque, please contact us at sales@mammoth.co.za or 0861 000 370.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a fixed shipping price for each shipping method no matter the size of your order:
- To Door: R76
- Speed Services Counter to Counter: R114
- Post Office Parcelplus: Always Free
- Own Collection: Always Free
Can I collect and pay for my order at your showroom?
Most certainly. If you place your order online please select “Own Collection” as your shipping option. You can then choose to either pay for your order using “Credit Card” or “EFT” as your payment method. Alternatively select “Pay on Collection” as your payment method. Please note that we don’t accept debit cards in our showroom, but credit cards and cash are welcome.
How long does it take for you to deliver?
Most orders deliver in 6-8 days from the time the order is paid (successful credit card orders are considered paid immediately - EFT orders are considered paid once we’ve received proof of payment). Delivery times do differ from product to product. Each product has a delivery estimate listed below the price. Look out for the words “Approximate Delivery:” and then a time listed, like 6-8 days.
The approximate delivery time listed on each product page is for to door shipping or Speed Services counter to counter shipping. Post Office Parcelplus takes a little longer.
